AEU MEDIA GROUP ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF QPON-ME ENTERPRISES
AEU PLANS TO OFFER SAVINGS & DISCOUNT PORTAL FOR THE GLBT COMMUNITY
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., 04-AUG-2008 9:00AM AEU Media Group, LLC (parent company of PrideNation.com, PNN Radio, Proud TV) announced today the acquisition of QPON-Me (Coupon Me). Qpon-Me is a text-message, e-coupon digital discount application and web portal.
Qpon-Me ( http://qpon.me ) is a new way to get discounts, on products and services, through a cell phone or computer. Instead of clipping coupons, Qpon-Me makes discounts available by sending text-message discount codes to the user's cell phone. The user looks up available discount offers online or on a cell phone. The user can either print out a discount certificate from a computer or have the discount code, sent by text message, to their cell phone. There is no membership fee or cost to the end user except for standard text-message fees by cell phone service provider.
" Earlier last month, we did a national survey asking several questions of how the economy was affecting the GLBT community", stated AEU Media Executive Member Allen Edwards. "Even with the disposable income and spending power of our community, we found a lot ARE affected by the economy."
AEU Media Group will spend the next few weeks recruiting new business clients who would like to promote their products and services on the new Qpon-Me website (which is currently in BETA format). New clients can get their own text-message code, e-coupon and national listing for 50% off the regular rate ($25 after discount). Advertising clients can use their custom text-message code in their own advertisements and website. AEU Media will be promoting the new Qpon-Me website and services on their PrideNation.com website, PrideNation Magazine, PNN Radio, Proud TV and mass email marketing.f
