At approximately 5:15 PM Sunday evening there was a major accident involving two vehicles. A driver suspected of being under the influence of alcohol allegedly drove southbound in the northbound lane. Vehicles involved were a truck and another a car, on Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs.

There were moderate injuries, one of which required the jaws of life. At the time of the report, it is reported that the truck was the vehicle going down the wrong way hitting the sedan.

The news had this wrong. I was almost hit by this truck that was foong the wrong way. I gairentee you he hit the sexan who was going the proper way. I was lucky enough to not get hit as he was driving all ovw the road and thw wrong wAy. Scared me to pieces and was so sad to know somoen else wasnt so lucky .
