NEW YORK (Reuters) – A JetBlue flight attendant was to seem in federal courtroom in New York on Thursday, six days after authorities say she dropped a bag containing virtually 70 kilos (32 kg) of cocaine at Los Angeles Worldwide Airport, took off her footwear and ran away.

Marsha Reynolds, 31, of Queens, a New York borough, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

The JetBlue Airways Corp flight attendant was randomly chosen for extra safety screening on Friday night at Los Angeles airport's Terminal four. She had two carry-on luggage and a big purse, in response to authorities.

A Transportation Safety Administration worker informed an FBI agent that Reynolds made a telephone name and spoke in a overseas language. After she was escorted to a screening space, she dropped her baggage, took off her footwear and sprinted out of the terminal.

The TSA employee didn’t pursue her so as to safe the bags, which contained 11 packages of cocaine weighing a complete of 68.5 kilos, based on courtroom paperwork.

Reynolds surrendered to federal brokers on Wednesday at John F. Kennedy Worldwide Airport in New York.
